Nissan Cup 2009

Nissan Cup or ‚Oslo Terrengsykkelcup‚as the official name is today one of the most important haappenings in Mountain Biking in Norway with 3096 registered participants in 2008. The cup consists of 9 races around the Oslo area. Each race has several short starts, where you can enter with no license and a very modest entry fee. There are classes for everyone, from young children to elite and hobbyriders. The cup that was started in 1993 has almost every year demonstrated clear increase in entrants.

The Cup has a goal to recruit children and youth to the sport. It shall however also to be interesting to adults and the elite riders. This has been a success! Nissan is helping the cup to grow and develop further and has made a deal to become the main sponsor for the years 2008-2011.

Nissan is proud to work together with Hoydahl Sport in Nissan Cup. Hoydahl Sport will help Nissan in setting up the branding in all Nissan Cup races. Team Etto Hoydahl is driving Nissan cars 2008-2011 and the team will display their cars in Nissan Cup.
